The programme
Seven phases, one way of working
The programme follows our associate success model: Partner → Train → Equip → Mentor → Produce → Lead.

Each module combines facilitated sessions, self-study, practical work on real or anonymised client material, and an assessment.

How you progress
Assessed, mentored, certified
Shadowing & mentorship
A five-step shadowing ladder from Observe to Lead, and a dedicated mentor for at least 12 months.
Altiora Certified – Practitioner
Awarded after the required modules, all assessments, the shadowing ladder and an approved portfolio of evidence – normally by Day 90–180.
Competency framework
Thirteen competency domains rated on five proficiency levels, with self-assessments and Associate Lead assessments.
CPD
Annual continuing professional development targets, with support for recognised South African professional designations.
Growth pathways
Advisory and operations tracks, from new associate to senior partner level, guided by an Individual Development Plan.
